When can I move in?
Anytime during the month - we will pro-rate your storage rent for the number of days left in the month.
Is there a long-term commitment?
No. Units are rented on a month to month basis.
How much notice do I need to give to move out?
A minimum of 10 days notice is required to terminate your rental. Notice can be mailed or e-mailed.
What do I need to bring with me to sign the lease?
You will need to show a valid photo ID, and pay the first month's rent.
How do I pay my monthly rent?
You can pay online, sign up for auto pay, or mail a check or money order to our billing address.
What forms of payment do you accept?
At the lease signing, you will need to bring cash, check or money order. After your account is established, you can also pay via e-check from your checking or savings account for free, or with a Visa or Mastercard for a 3% fee.
Do I need to provide my own lock?
Yes, you can bring your own or locks are available for purchase.
Do I need to provide my own insurance?
No, personal property insurance is not required, however Greystone's insurance does not cover damage to your personal property. Many homeowners' policies extend some coverage to property stored off premises. Check your policy for coverage details.
What items are not allowed in storage?
Food items (including pet food), garbage, ammunition, tires, explosives, paint, solvents, anything odorous, noxious, corrosive or classified as flammable, hazardous, or toxic.
Can I dispose of trash at the facility?
No, trash disposal is not available.
What precautions should I take when storing items?
It is best to store items in air-tight containers, on shelves or pallets. Storage of boxes directly on the floor is not recommended.
